Data Deletion Request

How to request deletion

Email hello@brandsaathi.ai from the email address on your BrandSaathi account, with the subject "Data deletion request". Please tell us:

• The email address registered with BrandSaathi.
• Whether you want everything deleted, or only a specific part — for example just a connected Facebook or Instagram account, or just your saved content.
• If you are asking about a connected social account, the account handle or page name.

We ask you to write from the registered address so that we can be reasonably confident the request is genuinely yours. If we cannot match the request to an account we will come back to you rather than delete the wrong data.

What we delete, and when

We acknowledge your request within 7 working days and complete it within 30 days. If a request is unusually complex we will tell you why and give you a date.

If you connected a Facebook or Instagram account, deletion removes what we obtained from Meta and stored, which is:

• the account identifier, display name and profile picture URL;
• the access token and any refresh token we hold for posting on your behalf — these are revoked as well as deleted;
• the record of posts we published or scheduled through that connection.

You can also disconnect a social account at any time from inside BrandSaathi without deleting anything else. Disconnecting stops all future access immediately.

What we may have to keep

Some records cannot be deleted on request because Indian law requires us to retain them:

• Invoices, payments and tax records — retained for up to 7 years after account closure to comply with Indian tax and accounting law. These contain billing details, not content or social account data.
• Aggregated, de-identified usage data — this no longer identifies you and may be retained for product improvement.

Nothing in this section applies to data obtained from a connected Facebook or Instagram account. That is deleted in full.

Deleting through Facebook or Instagram

You can also remove BrandSaathi from your Meta account directly — in Facebook, under Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites; in Instagram, under Settings → Website Permissions → Apps and Websites. Removing the app there revokes our access immediately. To have the data we already hold erased as well, email us as described above.
